Amphenol / SSI Technologies P51 Pressure MediaSensors™

Amphenol / SSI Technologies P51 Pressure MediaSensors™ are ideal for harsh and benign media and provide superior accuracy. These micromachined devices are available in three pressure sensing type variants: absolute, vented gauge, or sealed gauge. Amphenol / SSI Technologies P51 Pressure MediaSensors feature a wide variety of fittings and measure pressures from 3PSI to 7500PSI. The compact and robust sensors are suitable for a variety of automotive, industrial, and commercial applications.

Pressure Sensing Types

Absolute sensors - The PSIA series measures pressure relative to a sealed chamber at a perfect vacuum, which remains unchanged regardless of ambient pressure conditions. PSIA sensors are used where a vacuum measurement or both vacuum and positive pressure measurements are needed in an application.

Gauge sensors - These PSIG devices measure pressure relative to ambient pressure rather than a chamber sealed at a perfect vacuum. PSIG sensors are used for lower pressure applications where measurement in a vacuum is not required or provided.

Sealed gauge pressure sensors - The PSIS series measures pressure relative to a sealed chamber at 0PSIG. PSIS sensors are used for higher pressure applications where measurement in a vacuum is not required or provided.
