Analog Devices Inc. High-Speed Converters
Analog Devices Inc. High-Speed Converters consists of A/D converters (ADC), D/A converters (DAC) and AFE/CODECs. Offering superior performance, high input bandwidths and integrated signal processing, high-speed data converters from ADI allow designers to easily and reliably select the proper solution for a variety of applications including instrumentation, Mil/Aero, wireless/wired communications and medical imaging.Overview

High-Speed A/D Converters
Analog Devices high speed A/D converters (ADCs) offer high IF ADCs of 10MSPS to 125MSPS, low IF ADCs of 125MSPS to 1 GSPS, integrated receivers, and wideband ADCs of >1GSPS. These high speed ADCs offer solutions for all high speed conversion applications.
High-Speed D/A Converters
High-speed DA converters (DACs) include wideband radio frequency, intermediate frequency signal processing, and general-purpose baseband classes. These DACs are suitable for wired and wireless communications, instrumentation, radar, electronic warfare, and other applications. Analog Devices high-speed DA converters range from 30MSPS to multi-GSPS with resolutions ranging from 8-bits to 16-bits. These converters are recommended for use with ADI's clocking and timing products, as well as RF products and power management.
JESD204B Interface
The JEDEC committee created JESD204B data converter serial interface standard to standardize and reduce the number of data inputs/outputs between high-speed data converters and other devices, such as FPGAs (field-programmable gate arrays). Fewer interconnects simplifies layout and allows smaller form factor realization without impacting overall system performance. These attributes are important to address the system size and cost constraints of a range of high speed ADC applications, including wireless infrastructure (GSM, EDGE, W-CDMA, LTE, CDMA2000, WiMAX, TD-SCDMA) transceiver architectures, software-defined radios, portable instrumentation, medical ultrasound equipment, and Mil/Aero applications such as radar and secure communications.
