Broadcom HSM9-C450 Side View Infrared Emitter is a side-emitting, surface-mount IR ChipLED available in a popular 3mm x 2.51mm industrial footprint. This LED comes with an integrated optical lens that narrows the viewing angle of the light beam, minimizing cross-talk and increasing the on-axis intensity. The narrow viewing angle allows effective light coupling into secondary optics, such as a light guide and a light pipe.
