CEL CG2409M2-EVAL is the evaluation board for CG2409M2 GaAs (Gallium arsenide) MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) SPDT RF Switch. This board requires a DC blocking capacitor at all RF ports. CG2409M2-EVAL is made up of 20 mil thick Duroid 6002 whose dielectric constant is 2.94. This board has a supply voltage of 3V and operates at a frequency varying from 0.05GHz to 3.8GHz.

For a narrow band application or an application where the operating frequency is outside the specified frequency range, the user may select a different capacitance value. Generally, the performance of the switch circuit is not sensitive, to a certain extent, to the DC blocking capacitance.

A 1000pF capacitor is used for DC bypass on all control lines. The user can make adjustments to its value according to the specific application requirement.
