Microchip Technology SAM L10/L11 ARM® Cortex®-M23 MCUs

Microchip Technology SAM L10/L11 ARM® Cortex®-M23 MCUs are ultra-low power, 32-bit MCUs with TrustZone, crypto, and enhanced Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC). The SAM L10/L11 MCUs come with 32MHz ARM® Cortex®-M23 core with single-cycle hardware multiplier, hardware divider, Nested Vector Interrupt Controller (NVIC), and Memory Protection Unit (MPU). These MCUs feature power-on-reset, programmable brown-out detection, 8-channel DMAC, and 8-channel event system for inter-peripheral core-independent operation. The SAM L10/L11 MCUs come in a range of flash memory (64kB, 32kB, and 16kB) and SRAM (16kB, 8kB, and 4kB). These MCUs have flexible clock distribution optimized for low power and a 32.768kHz crystal oscillator. The SAML10/L11 MCUs offer active, idle, and standby with partial or full SRAM retention and off-sleep modes.

The SAML11-KPH variants (ATSAML11E15A-MUKPH) are pre-provisioned with the Trustonic Root of Trust key and are supported by the Kinibi-M software development kit. The SAML11 variants (ATSAML11E15A-MU) have the option to be securely key provisioned using the Secure Thingz Secure Deploy™ architecture. These SAML10 MCUs employ a single MPU and 2 Debug Access Levels (DAL), whereas SAM L11 MCUs employ 2 MPUs, 3 DALs, and TrustZone for ARMv8-M. The SAML10/L11 MCUs are available in VQFN, TQFP, and SSOP packages with 24 or 32 pins.
